Virtual access to federated
databases
ARC Virtual Data Source (VDS) provides a single point of access to
federation of multiple diverse and geographically dispersed databases.
ARC VDS acts as one big database server to any client application that
sees a virtual schema and can fire SQL query to obtain a combined
result. During federated execution of SQL query ARC VDS ensure
enforcement of local as well as global security policy and produces a
fine grain audit trail.
